Byron is the B-Physical Strength and Conditioning Specialist and loves helping his clients to maximize their potential through periodically constructed fitness programs and professional coaching. With over 10 years of experience with clients of all ages and abilities it is no surprise that he is a well-respected personal trainer in Harrogate and surrounding areas.
Byron began his journey with Leeds United FC as a Football coach working with players from the grass roots level all the way to the academy level. This then took Byron to America playing and coaching soccer full time for 3 years which gave him a great opportunity to develop his teaching style and coaching philosophy whilst branching into Youth Conditioning/Strength & Conditioning.
Byron returned from America and soon decided Strength & Conditioning was where he was going to direct his energy and started working in a gym as a fitness instructor. He then gained his ‘Personal Training diploma’ alongside the ‘GP Referral Consultant’ qualification which all helped to further his Knowledge base.
Byron has continued to develop his studies all the way through his career by doing many courses such as FA Football Coach, Sports Conditioning, IYCA Strength & Conditioning Specialist, IYCA Speed & Agility Specialist, UKSCA Strength & Conditioning Coach (pending), SABO Rehab Trainer (stroke rehab), NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (pending), Kettlebell Instructor, Boxercise Instructor to mention a few.
Byron has worked with various young/old athletes at Leeds United FC, Soccer Academy (USA), British Divers and National/European Triathlete’s and has been appointed as the Strength and Conditioning Consultant for the North of England for the ASA England Talent Diving Program. Byron has developed the National Strength & Conditioning handbook which is distributed to all national level divers throughout all the clubs in the UK. Byron has worked with some fantastic young athletes over the past 2 years including Jack Laugher and Oliver Dingley who represented England at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi 2010 and Bill Hitchcock who represented Great Britain at the European Triathlon Championships in Spain in June 2011.
Although Byron specializes in the Strength and Conditioning areas and has clients who compete nationally, he also has many clients who are just as successful at reaching their goals. Whether this is losing a few pounds, losing a few inches or just getting fitter, whatever your goal Byron strives to achieve this and also to educate you about how is best to achieve it and maintain your targets for the time ahead. Byron trains on a friendly and personal level whilst keeping a professional approach to fitness and nutrition.

The Fitness Rooms at The White Hart opened on the 1st June.
